We held our first Community Event for Cycling Instructors on the 16th of May and these are selected slides from the short talk on Frame. This is a summary of some of the issues that Frame would like to help solve in the future. It's important that instructor's are all on the same page about these issues and the way to move forward.
Frame uses a digital platform to connect two groups in the Cycle Training industry- Employers and Instructors. The service is the training and recruitment of instructors and the product is the platform which take the form of an app.
The name and idea came about when Miles searched for the most important part of a bike and expected to find some obscure component that would sound catchy. To his surprise, it's widely agreed that the frame is virtually irreplaceable which Miles believed was a pretty good metaphor for instructor's involvement in cycle training!
This is an overview of Frame's aims and how it hopes to change the industry through employment.
Frame would like to take a more targeted approach to the recruitment and screening of future instructors and train them by combining smaller training elements.
Information in the cycle training industry is its most valuable asset and the best source for this is from current instructors. Frame wants to recognise existing experience to drive innovation and grow the industry.
To establish a network of instructors for the platform, instructors need to come together and build new connections or strengthen existing ones.
Instructors are integral to Frame's success so please get connected and encourage others to do the same.
