The Final Frame Community Cycle Club Summer Ride!

New people, same places

The Summer holidays are over and I hope everyone has been busy/ had a rest depending on what you wanted! Although I haven’t seen as many of you as I would have liked, it’s great to see so many instructors getting out and about on their bikes on Strava! The biggest change I’ve experienced over the last month is starting to work for a new provider- Cycle Instructor (CI) in Waltham Forest. I’ve had the pleasure of working with new people and it’s great to speak to them and learn from their experience. It’ll be interesting to see what the new academic year will bring… I’d love to hear your thoughts about having a new provider in your area and how things are going.

Frame update

As well as doing holiday courses, it’s been a busy summer for me working on the new website and organising weekly group rides for instructors and riders to benefit from experience riding as a group as I believe it’s important that instructors get real-world experience to hone existing skills or develop new ones. Frame Community Cycle Club was formed and is now going on hiatus so I can focus on developing training courses for instructors but keep an eye on our social media or Strava for any group rides in the future. If you haven’t done so already, click the link in the banner to be taken to the new site!

Volunteers needed

On Tuesday 10th September at 5pm, I will be hosting the first Frame Table Talk and I’m looking for a small group of instructors to share their thoughts and experiences on a range of cycling-related topics including how they got on last term, during the holidays and looking forward to the new year. The discussion will be recorded and used to inform adults in the industry about what they can expect before they start. If you’re interested in getting involved then let me know.

Best of luck

As always, a big thank you to everyone who attended an event over the last month and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
